Hoopers in SLO

I was visiting Mitchel Park in San Luis Obispo CA when 2 hoopers showed up. I grabbed a few photos. I was depressed that I didn't have my hoop with me. I came by train and had to limit what I brought to what I could carry by myself. If only I had a collapsible hoop. I asked the hoopers if they had regular meetings or if I could come back the next day with a hoop and she said they more or less just show up on a whim. Oh well. It was kind of demoralizing when I walked up to say hello and a little girl there said, "Are you their mother."

Also, I was by the Monday club and saw a woman carrying about 20 hoops into the building. Hers was the only car in the parking lot so maybe she was having a rehearsal or preparing for a class later that night.

The last time I was at a Monday club event was for a belly dancing workshop about 25 years ago. Time flies.

People Who Don't Clean Up After Their Dogs

Did I tell you how annoyed I am with the neighbors upstairs? Before they moved in, I could grab my hoop, walk out my front door, and hoop on the front lawn that all the apts. share. Then my neighbor's got a chijuajua. At first they were good about cleaning up after the dog, and then they had a baby. Now they've figured out how to open the front door, let the dog out unsupervised, let it poop whenever, and then run back upstairs. So now no one cleans up the poop. I can't even cross my front lawn, let alone hoop on it.
Once I was even in the front yard with a shovel cleaning up after their dog, and even then they didn't get a clue. They just glanced at me and kept going. Ugh.
The gardeners don't clean it up either, they just mow around it.

Safire classes

I'm home with a cold so no hooping for me today. But I'm watching videos to keep my motivation up.
Spring will be here soon and many more happy hooping adventures I hope. Now hop to it and get hooping.
